L'OCCITANE en Provence reveals brand ambassador for L'Homme Cologne Cedrat

L'OCCITANE en Provence is excited to welcome Matthieu Vincent, the 27 year old French sailor, as the face of L'Homme Cologne Cedrat and ambassador for L'OCCITANE's full collection for Men. His young and athletic appearance will provide a modern and dynamic image that is perfectly in line with L'OCCITANE's wide range of products for Men.

With their shared values of overcoming challenges and sharing adventures, combined with a mutual passion for innovation, the partnership is a natural fit for L'OCCITANE and Matthieu. Both share a deep respect for nature and the environment and will be working together to promote the protection of our planet.

L'OCCITANE will accompany Matthieu as he prepares for competing in the 2019 Mini Transat La Boulangère, a bi-annual solo sailing race across the Atlantic Ocean from La Rochelle in France to Le Marin in Martinique. The race is split into two legs, with an obligatory stop in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands. Matthieu will cross the 4,050 nautical miles alone onboard the smallest offshore racing boat, a Class Mini monohull that measures just 6.50 metres long! The gruelling solo race will require great determination, skill and courage.

Matthieu's boat has been fully branded in the slick L'OCCITANE L'Homme Cologne Cedrat colours. L'OCCITANE looks forward to engaging with fans and the wider sailing and sports community to further develop brand awareness and promote products. The brand will be using PR, social and digital media as Matthieu prepares over the coming months, combined with hospitality events and product sampling at the race village and live coverage of the race itself. The partnership will also serve as a valuable internal communications platform to be leveraged across the L'OCCITANE Group.  

Matthieu first discovered L'OCCITANE en Provence through its iconic Shea Butter hand creams, restoring his damaged hands after years of exposure to extreme conditions at sea. He will be counting on their nourishing and protecting formula to keep him on top physical form as the count-down to the 2019 Mini Transat La Boulangère begins!
