The L’OCCITANE Group is majority-owned by its Chairman and CEO, Reinold Geiger, and his family, reflecting the Group’s commitment to long-term vision and sustainable growth.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors, together with Board Observers consisting of family members and key representatives from our management and financial partners, defines the Group’s overall strategic direction.

Reinold Geiger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Reinold Geiger is the L’OCCITANE Group’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Since joining the Group in 1996 as Chairman and controlling shareholder, he has led its growth from a domestic operation based in France to a multi-brand global business. In 2008, he was named ‘INSEAD Entrepreneur of the Year’ for the Group’s international development strategy.

Mr Geiger began his career in 1970 at the American Machine and Foundry Company. He later founded and sold several businesses in machinery and packaging, including AMS Packaging SA, which was listed on the Paris stock exchange.

Mr Geiger graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich, Switzerland with a degree in engineering in 1969 and from INSEAD in Fontainebleu, France with a Master’s degree in business administration in 1976.

André Hoffmann

Andre Hoffmann

André Hoffmann

André Hoffmann is a member of the L’OCCITANE Group’s Board of Directors. He has previously held several top management roles in the Group, including Group CEO from 2021 to 2024 and Asia–Pacific Managing Director from 1995 to 2017.

Mr Hoffmann has over 30 years of experience in the retail and distribution of cosmetics, luxury products and fashion in Asia–Pacific. He was a joint venture partner of the Group for the distribution of L’Occitane en Provence products in the Asia–Pacific region between 1995 and 2004.

Mr Hoffmann graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, USA with a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1978.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee (ExCo) implements the strategy defined by the Board of Directors and works with the Group’s brand and function leaders to provide strategic guidance and ensure alignment across the Group. All brand, Group business unit and function leaders report to the ExCo, ensuring a unified vision and direction.

Didier Lalance, Group General Manager

Didier Lalance is L’OCCITANE Group’s General Manager and a member of the Group Executive Committee. He brings 30 years of experience in general management roles across international groups and renowned brands, with a proven track record of adapting businesses to evolving market demands and global consumer trends.

An accomplished entrepreneurial leader, Mr Lalance introduced Asics to the European market, successfully launched and expanded the Kering sports division, and repositioned Printemps’ flagship stores to emphasise luxury, fashion and beauty. At Lacoste, he spearheaded a strategic shift towards premiumisation, doubling the brand’s revenue and achieving omnichannel growth across global markets. Since 2021, he has served as President of the Jott Group, a premium outerwear brand.

Samuel Antunes

Samuel Antunes, Group Chief Financial Officer

Samuel Antunes is L’OCCITANE Group’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Group Executive Committee. He joined the Group in 2010 as International Treasurer and has accumulated extensive experience in corporate finance over the years. Prior to becoming CFO, he was the Director of Group Cash Management and Financing, holding responsibility for the Group’s financing strategy and cash management. His role proved to be pivotal during the Group’s accelerated mergers and acquisitions activity in recent years.

Prior to his career at the Group, Mr Antunes worked as Treasurer for Groupe Adeo, the third biggest DIY retailer in the world, based in France. He graduated from the University of Lille, France with a Master’s degree in corporate finance.

Ingo Dauer, Group Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel

Ingo Dauer, Group Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel

Ingo Dauer is L’OCCITANE Group’s Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel and a member of the Group Executive Committee. Since joining the Group in 2009, he has overseen and advised on all legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial law, intellectual property rights, data protection, and insurance and fiscal compliance matters. In 2024, he joined the Group Executive Committee as Group Chief Operating Officer, overseeing legal, compliance and security functions, Group human resources, Group communications and Group supply chain, ensuring strategic alignment between the Group and brands.

Mr Dauer began his career as in-house lawyer at Dachser and has held senior positions at Panalpina (ASB Oil and Gas) and ESCADA. He graduated from the law school at the University of Augsburg, Germany.

They define and execute brand strategies and oversee operations for their respective brands. Adrien Geiger, CEO of L'Occitane en Provence

Adrien joined the Maison in 2014, working first in marketing and product development, before becoming Chief Digital Officer in 2015, Chief Customer Experience Officer in 2016, Chief Growth Officer in 2017 and Global Brand Director in 2018. He also served as Group Sustainability Officer from 2020 to 2023. During this time, he spearheaded projects to regenerate nature and support biodiversity, while driving the Group’s ambition to achieve B Corpcertification. Before joining the Group, Mr Geiger worked for EDF Energies Nouvelles, a French leader in sustainable energy. He graduated from the University of Oxford, UK with a Master’s degree in engineering and from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA with a Master’s degree in business administration.

Jordan Saxemard, CEO of Sol de Janeiro

Jordan Saxemard is Chief Executive Officer of Sol de Janeiro. He is a global business leader with over 20 years of experience across beauty, luxury and consumer goods, recognised for building culturally relevant, high-growth brands and leading large-scale transformations.

Mr Saxemard joined Sol de Janeiro in 2025 as Chief Marketing and Digital Officer, where he plays a key role in shaping the brand’s next phase of growth.

Previously, Mr Saxemard served as President of Dyson, overseeing multibillion-dollar operations across the Americas and EMEA. He also held senior leadership roles at Coty Luxury, leading global marketing and commercial strategy across fragrance, make-up and skincare, in partnership with leading fashion houses and lifestyle brands including Gucci, Tiffany & Co., Bottega Veneta and Chloé.

Mr Saxemard began his career in finance at 3M and is known for combining creative vision with operational discipline and a global perspective.

Noella Gabriel

Noella Gabriel, Co-Founder and CEO of ELEMIS

Noella is the CEO and Co-Founder of ELEMIS. With more than 35 years of experience in the industry, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the brand from its inception, drawing on her background as a beauty therapist, aromatherapist, and nutritionist. Internationally recognised for her expertise in treatments, education, and product innovation, Noella has been instrumental in establishing ELEMIS as a leader in personalised, results-driven skincare.

Throughout her tenure at ELEMIS, Noella has held a variety of senior leadership roles. She began as Director of Education & Sales in 1990 before progressing to General Manager for the UK, Europe, and Rest of World. In 2019, she relocated to the United States to serve as General Manager for the US market, guiding the brand's growth through the challenges of the pandemic. She was appointed Global President in 2022, to lead the company’s global strategy and expansion.

Dorothée is the CEO of ERBORIAN, a pioneering hybrid skincare brand within the L’OCCITANE Group. She joined the Group in 2012 as Marketing Manager for L’Occitane en Provence and rose to Vice President of Marketing. With 20 years in the beauty industry, she is an expert in brand building, omnichannel development, and international growth across wholesale and digital. A business builder at heart, she thrives on shaping brands and driving bold acceleration once the formula works. Dorothée brings strategic vision and operational drive, with a passion for turning ideas into scalable business outcomes. Known for her collaborative, empowering leadership, she fosters high-performing teams grounded in trust, clarity, and shared ambition. She leads ERBORIAN with a clear goal: to leverage  the power of Korean skincare to boost both skin and self-esteem.
