L’OCCITANE renews its support for healthcare workers
The L’OCCITANE Group has been responding to the pandemic since it first broke out. To date, the Group has donated over a million units of soaps, hand creams, hand sanitiser and other care products to healthcare workers around the world.
Now that the second wave of coronavirus is battering Europe, and in recognition of the unfailing commitment of healthcare workers, L’OCCITANE en Provence is renewing its support of those on the front line of the pandemic, a move championed by the company’s beauty advisors in particular. 150,000 more care products – including verbena and shea hand balm, shower gel, and body lotion – in addition to 5,000 300ml bottles of hand sanitiser are ready to be distributed to healthcare professionals throughout France.
Starting today, 1,000 L’OCCITANE en Provence skincare and beauty gift sets will be delivered to workers at the Hôpital de Manosque in Provence. Next it will be the turn of other hospitals in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region and elsewhere in France. Among the beneficiaries is the Hôpital Le Corbusier in Firminy, Loire, which, mid-November, was the worst-affected hospital in France.

We are very moved by this initiative. Many of our staff members have been affected by COVID-19, and we are especially at risk: being on the front line means that we have to be extra careful to protect our families. These gifts are a great comfort to us, and they really lift our spirits. Thank you again for your generosity and for thinking of us.
This is a long-term commitment that all L’OCCITANE employees are very proud of.
