Celebrate International Women's Day

For International Women’s Day and beyond, let’s all Embrace Equity… Embracing gender equity is the right thing to do – it’s not a nice-to-have, it’s a MUST HAVE – and we can all challenge stereotypes, call out discrimination, draw attention to bias and seek out inclusion.

For L’OCCITANE Group, gender equity is, and always has been, paramount. Around 87% of our entire workforce is female and 20% of our Board of Directors are women (with 50% of our key management positions held by women too).  As well as this, our CEO has pledged to the LEAD (Leading Executives Advancing Diversity) Network to accelerate gender equity and drive inclusion in our industry. And, outside of our own business purpose, L’OCCITANE Group has been helping to empower women in Burkino Faso since the 1980s, by improving working conditions and fostering their financial independence. Happily, our work here continues to make a difference and has touched the lives of nearly 60,000 women to date.

Collective activism is what drives change, and L’OCCITANE Group will continue to do our best to be an ally for women everywhere.
