L'OCCITANE Pop-Up Café opens in Singapore with award-winning pastry chef Janice Wong
Next week will see the opening of a L'OCCITANE Pop-Up Café at the Ion Orchard shopping mall in Singapore. The event has been launched in collaboration with the award-winning Asian pastry chef Janice Wong, who has been tasked with bringing the taste of natural beauty to Singapore. Visitors will be able to enjoy a sensorial, artistic and gastronomic experience starting on July 3rd and running through to July 16th.
The Pop-Up has been inspired by the successful collaboration between L'OCCITANE en Provence and world-renowned French pastry chef Pierre Hermé. The design of the space resonates the interior of the L'OCCITANE-Pierre Hermé concept store "86CHAMP"S in Paris, and Janice Wong is a protégé of Pierre Hermé himself.
Janice will be creating delicious sweet treats using signature natural L'OCCITANE ingredients such as Cherry Blossom, Verbena, Bergamot, Rose and Almond to inspire the exclusive chocolate and dessert selections available for the 1st time at this event.
A 360 immersive experience using VR will enable visitors to visit the beautiful landscapes of Provence, whilst the skincare and body care texture bar will allow them to test and play with products for real. The Pop-Up Café has been called "A Journey In Every Sense" and, upon experiencing all 5 senses, visitors will be treated to a complimentary hand cream.
L'OCCITANE products will be on sale with a 10% reduction and customers will receive an exclusive hair care, body care or skincare gift with a minimum purchase.
