Sol de Janeiro launches new Jelly Perfume Balm

The L’OCCITANE Group is thrilled to announce that Sol de Janeiro is expanding its fragrance universe with the launch of Jelly Perfume Balm, a new solid fragrance format designed for effortless, on-the-go scent application. Made with premium fragrance oils – just like the brand’s best-in-class perfume mists – the alcohol-free balm melts into the skin, delivering a concentrated scent that lasts up to 10 hours.

This is an extension of the brand’s joyful philosophy centred on ‘cheirosa’. Literally translating to ‘smelling delicious’ in Brazilian Portuguese, ‘cheirosa’ represents a way of life rooted in confidence, connection and self-expression across Sol de Janeiro’s products. With Jelly Perfume Balm, this philosophy becomes more portable than ever. The twist-up stick, complete with a custom clip-on keychain, glides on with a translucent, non-sticky finish – enabling quick fragrance touch-ups anytime, anywhere.

What’s more, the balm can be worn alone or layered seamlessly with other Sol de Janeiro body care and fragrance products to deepen scent intensity and extend fragrance longevity.

Three of Sol de Janeiro’s most iconic fragrances – each of which references a defining moment or mood in Brazilian history – are now available as Jelly Perfume Balms:

  • Cheirosa 62™ is a sunny gourmand blend of pistachio, salted caramel and vanilla which takes inspiration from the year 1962, when Brazil introduced the world to The Girl from Ipanema.
  • Cheirosa 68™ is a vibrant floral scent with notes of Brazilian jasmine, pink dragonfruit and ocean air, inspired by Brazil’s Tropicália movement of 1968.
  • Cheirosa 40™ is a sultry floral scent featuring notes of black amber plum, jasmine blooms and vanilla woods, harking back to Rio’s historic 1840 Carnival Ball.

With up to 1,000 swipes per stick, Jelly Perfume Balm not only delivers premium longevity in a compact form but also translates fragrance into a sensorial experience.
