Our Ethics

"At the L’OCCITANE Group, we are committed to ethics, social responsibility and respect for the environment, and we expect that same dedication from our employees and partners. Compliance is essential to our business operations and it is all about fostering a workplace culture that values integrity and ethical conduct; it aligns with the values of our Group as a whole and of the employees and partners who make it up.

We foster a safe environment in which to speak up. If you see or experience something that you feel is unsafe, unlawful or unethical, don’t stay silent. Speak up: we will listen and take action when needed."

Reinold Geiger,

Chairman  of the L'OCCITANE Group

Code of Business Conduct

At the L’OCCITANE Group, our values and Code of Business Conduct guide how we operate every day, promoting a culture of transparency, accountability and integrity.

The Code reflects the Group’s commitments and outlines the rules by which every employee and business partner must abide in their daily activities.

Speak Up Policy

Speaking up means raising a concern so that it can be addressed without fear of retaliation. If you witness behaviour that may violate our Code of Business Conduct or applicable laws or regulations, we encourage you to speak up. The Group’s entrepreneurial spirit promotes open communication, and direct contact with the party or parties involved should be the preferred means by which to raise concerns. However, we understand that this is not always feasible, and for this reason we provide multiple ways in which to speak up.

The Speak Up Policy offers guidance on whom to approach when raising concerns about suspected misconduct as well as when, where and how to do so. It also outlines what to expect from the Group, and the steps that may follow, once a concern is raised.
