L’OCCITANE’s participation reflects the central place nature has in the identity of L'OCCITANE, which draws its inspiration and the key ingredients of its products from nature. Also, the Congress is being held in the South of France, close to L'OCCITANE's production sites, territories to which the brand is strongly committed.

Congress participants will have the opportunity to learn more about L'OCCITANE's extensive efforts to preserve and regenerate biodiversity in the South of France during a field excursion that will be made available to conservation experts and journalists.

L’OCCITANE’s field excursion includes a visit of Magalie and Philippe Mary’s organic verbena farm in Jouques (approx. 60 km from Marseille): excursion co-hosted with the environmental consultancy firm Naturalia, which carried out the farm’s biodiversity assessment in 2018.
