L’Occitane au Brésil is bringing its unique essence to new heights

L’Occitane au Brésil is bringing its unique essence to new heights - literally!

End of 2024, the brand launched its first-ever pop-up store in a truly iconic location: inside an original 1972 cable car at the Bondinho Pão de Açúcar in Rio de Janeiro.

Located at Brazil’s most famous landmark, this immersive space offers breathtaking views of Christ the Redeemer and Guanabara Bay while celebrating the vibrant beauty of Brazilian culture and nature.

Designed to reflect the brand’s Brazilian identity, the store provides a multi-sensory journey featuring exclusive body care products, including beloved favourites like the Caju line and Compotas Corporais.

This pop-up store is more than just a retail space - it’s a new tourist attraction in the Marvelous City, complete with a calendar of cultural events and activities to captivate both locals and visitors.

2024 has been a year of incredible growth for L’Occitane au Brésil, with the Bondinho pop-up marking the 40th new opening of the year and a clear commitment to expanding the brand’s presence across the country. As Rodrigo Barbé, Communication and Branding Manager, explains:

The Bondinho project demonstrates our purpose of celebrating people, nature, and culture through meaningful, sensory experiences at one of Brazil’s most iconic landmarks.

We look forward to welcoming visitors to experience Brazilian beauty in an entirely new way.
