Celebrating Nearly 20 Years of Global Impact – L'OCCITANE Philanthropy Report 2023-2024

For almost two decades, L’OCCITANE en Provence has proudly stood as a leader in the global philanthropy landscape.

With its commitment to safeguarding nature and empowering communities, the brand has continuously worked to make a lasting difference through a focus on three key areas: biodiversity, women’s empowerment and eyecare.

Operating internationally, the L’OCCITANE Foundation – together with L’OCCITANE en Provence’s local subsidiaries – remains deeply invested in projects that create positive change where it’s needed most.

Strengthening Our Impact in 2023–2024

In the 2023–2024 financial year, L’OCCITANE en Provence strengthened its efforts across its three pillars, with the help of its Foundation and its subsidiaries.

Through an ambitious new call for projects and long-term partnerships, we’ve continued to expand our impact. Some of our key achievements from the year include:

€4.7 million in donations
Our ongoing commitment to philanthropy is reflected in our significant financial support, enabling real progress in the regions that need it most.

63 projects supported, including 55 at the local level
By working closely with local subsidiaries, we’ve been able to support grassroots initiatives, ensuring our efforts are tailored to the needs of each region.

405,831 beneficiaries of eye care
Our commitment to fighting avoidable blindness remains as strong as ever. Over 400,000 individuals have received essential eye care services this year alone.

350 girls and women empowered
Women’s empowerment is central to our mission. In 2023–2024, our projects provided critical support to 350 girls and women, offering them the tools and opportunities to thrive.

1,380 hectares of land restored
Protecting biodiversity is a core focus for the brand, and our reforestation and land restoration efforts continue to grow year after year.
